When Charlotte and Shane invited me to be a part of their big day, I couldn’t say no! It was such a pleasure to be able to capture this stunning couple and their gorgeous day surrounded by family and friends.

Charlotte and Shane first met at work and they just clicked straight away. Shane proposed in November 2020.
Charlotte said,
“He planned for us to go for a walk out in the New Forest to find a scenic spot, but it was in the middle of lockdown and everyone was there – it was a bit of a nightmare. I was really grumpy as it took us ages to find somewhere to park, I was definitely not a joy to be around at that point and was shocked when Shane got down on one knee.” She added, “I couldn’t believe he would want to marry me after putting up with my complaining that day!”
The Big Day At 10 Castle Street
The beautiful location for this special day was 10 Castle Street, a Grade II listed Queen Anne Country Manor set in Dorset and surrounded by Cranborne Chase.
The day started in style with Shane taking a ride in a stunning Cobra 427 as Charlotte added the finishing touches to her gorgeous look. Her dress was absolutely stunning and with the help of her bridesmaids, (and after a few snaps of the glowing bride), it was time to head down to the grounds for the ceremony.
Under an aisle of trees, Charlotte and Shane tied the knot in front of their friends and family. It was a beautiful moment in an amazing setting and the happy couple were absolutely beaming. It was a truly special moment and it was a real honour to be able to capture it for them to enjoy.
Once the ceremony was done, I managed to steal this gorgeous couple away for a moment for a few shots together as their guests enjoyed some drinks and snacks. It’s really nice during what can be a busy day to take a moment together and capture these candid moments where you can take a breath for just a second. These photos are a really great way to capture the joy of the occasion.
The reception and speeches followed and, as had been the running theme of the entire day, love and laughter were right at the heart of it all. The reception was beautiful and it was a really special moment to be able to capture the friends and family of this gorgeous couple as everyone took it all in.
