Meet Kate – Winchester Wedding Photographer

Hello, I’m Kate — a wedding photographer based in Winchester, Hampshire, photographing weddings across the UK and worldwide.

I’m a Winchester wedding photographer who believes the most meaningful images come from real moments, not staged ones. My work has been recognised by leading Wedding & Honeymoon magazines, where I’ve been named among the Top wedding photographers in Surrey and the UK. While Hampshire is home, I’m always happy to travel throughout the UK or overseas to photograph weddings wherever your story takes place.

My journey into photography began several years ago when I decided to follow my passion for visual storytelling at college. Although I hold a degree in Marketing, Management and Enterprise, photography was always where my heart was. I was drawn to capturing life as it unfolds — the emotion, atmosphere and connection — and turning those moments into lasting memories.

Over the years, I’ve worked alongside many talented creatives across the UK, which has helped shape my approach and refine my style. Today, my photography is best described as modern, Classy relaxed and elegant, with a timeless feel. I focus on natural light, genuine emotion and the quiet moments that often mean the most.

Whether I’m photographing a wedding in Hampshire, elsewhere in the UK, or abroad, my aim is always the same — to create images that feel honest and personal. I want you to look back at your photographs years from now and remember exactly how the day felt.

I believe the best work comes from connection. I work in a super friendly and unobtrusive way, allowing you to enjoy your day while I quietly document it as it naturally unfolds. Every look, every laugh and every tear matters — together they tell your story, and I capture it with care and simplicity. 

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m a wife, a mum to two wonderful sons, and dog mum to our lovely very active GSP pup. I love being outdoors, cycling, Mediterranean food, and starting the day with a good cup of coffee. I’m a romantic at heart, and love stories are what inspire everything I do — which is why wedding photography feels so natural to me.
