When Melissa and Alexander reached out to me to photograph their wedding, I was thrilled. What a beautiful couple and stunning location. I was over the moon to be able to capture those special moments and provide gorgeous memories that they can treasure.
The stunning Spring wedding took place at the beautiful Ashley Wood Farm for this lovely couple. The farm wedding setting has gorgeous buildings and scenic views that make an already beautiful day even more magical.
I’m a firm believer that wedding photography should tell the story of a couple and the love that they share for each other – and what a story these two have!
After getting married during the pandemic in front of only their nearest and dearest, this beautiful Spring day would provide a gorgeous backdrop for Melissa and Alexander during their celebration as they invited friends and family to enjoy their renewals with them.
On an early March morning, Melissa, along with her bridal party got ready in the nearby cottage. A morning of smiles and laughter, it was an incredible experience to be able to capture such special moments for these amazing women.
Alexander, with his uniform pressed, couldn’t stop smiling. With his party of groomsmen by his side and some special guests suited up, we were able to take some lovely photos to capture his pride and excitement as the beautiful bride added those finishing touches and grabbed her bouquet.
Then was the walk down the courtyard aisle to a beaming Alexander waiting to welcome his gorgeous bride Melissa. The renewal was incredible in this picturesque little courtyard and made for some really special moments that were a delight to capture for this lovely couple and their guests.
The couple lit up this farm courtyard venue surrounded by beautiful scenery and their family and friends as they exchanged vows and rings.
Under a sabre arch provided by friends and through an aisle of beaming family and friends, the couple were glowing and I was able to capture their excitement as the confetti flew. What a truly beautiful location for a wedding and what a deserving couple of such a special day.
Onto the reception with drinks flowing and laughter in the air. It was a privilege to capture some special candid moments of Melissa and Alexander with their friends and family who were thrilled to finally be able to celebrate their special day with them.
Relaxed, candid photos are such brilliant reminders of a wonderful day. They show real emotion and genuine interaction and can be incredible for looking back fondly on those treasured moments with loved ones.
